Wesson-Hoagland Cottage (HOM.17)

The lovely summer cottage built by Herbert W. Wesson was on land that was once the farm of Parker B. Billings. The Wesson cottage now belongs to the Hoagland family who, as good neighbors, make a real effort to maintain and to provide easy access to the Settler’s Rest cemetery which can just barely be seen in the right foreground of the above circa 1910 photo. They have made many improvements to the house while keeping its classic lines.
