The Daniel Morgan Jr. home
This Federalist style house was the home of Daniel Morgan, Jr., the son of Daniel Morgan, one of the proprietors of Plantation 4. Later, the house belonged to George Harding. Ed Chapin, a Harding descendant, was told that George and his wife Minerva Tapley Bennett Harding, took care of the previous owner and, for their services, were given the house. In 1959 the house was sold to Herbert N. Simmons who sold it in 1961. This beautiful house has had many improvements over the years.
